Why a warm cab is a downtime problem

A driver in a hot cab in a Florida July makes worse decisions, takes longer breaks, and eventually stops driving. Operators in equipment cabs have it worse, because glass on four sides and no shade turns a loader into an oven by mid morning.

Most A/C calls come down to one of three things: the system lost its charge through a leak, the compressor or its clutch gave up, or the air never gets moving because of a blower or a wiring fault. Those are three different repairs, and guessing between them is how people end up paying twice. The scanner and the gauges tell you which one you have before anything gets replaced.

P&C finds the leak with dye and pressure testing rather than topping the system off and sending you back out. A system that lost its charge once will lose it again, and a recharge without a repair buys a few weeks at most. You hear which repair you need, at the listed rate, before the work starts.
