We set up a maintenance contract with P&C for our small fleet. They come to our lot in Punta Gorda on schedule and handle everything from brakes to full diagnostics on our Cummins and International trucks. Better labor rate with the contract and they actually show up when they say they will. Reliable mobile truck repair.
Fleet Maintenance, on a Schedule

How fleet maintenance works when the shop comes to you
Every fleet runs on one of two schedules: a maintenance schedule or a breakdown schedule. The second one always costs more, because it bills in downtime, after-hours rates, and jobs that slip while a machine sits dead.
A P&C maintenance contract puts your trucks and equipment on the first schedule. The service truck comes to your yard at a recurring interval that fits the fleet: fluids and filters, inspections, brake and tire checks, hydraulic and electrical once-overs, and the small catches that keep big failures off the calendar. Contracts lower the standard $155/hr labor rate, and contract customers are the first call when something does break.
Already have a mechanic? P&C also does fill-in work: vacation coverage, overflow, and the occasional specialist visit for diagnostics or welding, with no contract required. If you are still sizing up who to put on the fleet, what to look for in a mobile diesel mechanic covers the questions worth asking first.

What this covers
Recurring PM service
Fluids, filters, greasing, and inspections on trucks and equipment, at your yard, on a set interval.
Inspections & catches
Brakes, tires, hoses, batteries, and leaks checked before they become roadside calls.
Contract rates
Recurring work drops the standard labor rate and puts your fleet first in line for breakdowns.
Fill-in work
Coverage for fleets that already have a mechanic: overflow, vacations, and specialist calls.
Listed pricing, no mystery invoice
Most shops bury the number. Here's the rate sheet, up front. Standard labor flexes down on a service contract.
